Pour into freezer bowl, turn the machine on and let mix until mixture is thick and slushy, about 20 minutes. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Well, you can’t get any easier than this. Take the lemonade of your choice, pour into the ice cream freezer, and then have frozen lemonade! Yet we still managed to over-freeze it. We forgot to put it in the ice cream machine while we were eating dinner, so we went for a walk after dinner while it was mixing. It was tasty anyway, but the best was when Gray thought of putting what we didn’t consume back into the lemonade pitcher. We poured that into our glasses and it was great! It was sorta like wedding punch where you put sherbet into the punch and it melts a little.
As a bonus we got to share our dinner with my mom (who also preferred the lemonade with slush), who brought homemade sour dough bread to have with dinner. We had grilled chicken courtesy of Gray, who was trying a new marinade he made up, and I prepared yummy oven-roasted vegetables, which we learned about from Gray’s mom. Delish! Thanks moms!
